Course Description

In support of providing retnetion services to district and school leaders the GaDoe Title II, State Activities team will offer a session on supporting staff wellness. The GaDoe team will create, review, and provide engaging professional learning tat provides a foundational understanding of burnout and stress by building self-awareness and positive climate action planning.

Griffin RESA reserves space in professional learning classes and workshops for employees of our member systems (Butts, Fayette, Griffin/Spalding, Henry, Lamar, Newton, Pike, and Upson). In the rare event when classes are full or overbooked, slots must be made available for employees of member systems.  Priority of class availability is as follows:

  1. Certified personnel under contract with a member system or RESA
  2. Classified personnel of a member system or RESA
  3. Certified personnel under contract with a system that is a member of a RESA outside the Griffin RESA area
  4. Personnel of a state agency
  5. Presently unemployed persons from the Griffin RESA area seeking renewal of certificate
  6. Personnel employed by a system that is not a member of a Griffin, such as private schools or agencies
  7. Out-of-State personnel

The fee displayed for the class is the fee for personnel in categories 1 and 2. Personnel in categories 3 - 7 are subject to an out-of-area fee, when applicable. Please contact our office if you have questions about fees.

We accept cancellations up to seven days before a scheduled class.  After this date, registrants will be charged and are welcome to send a replacement.  No-shows will be charged.
