Course Description

The Georgia Professional StandardsĀ Commission Educator Preparation RuleĀ 505-3-.01 -Requirements and StandardsĀ for Program Approval require educator preparation programs to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with P-12 schools that are formalized as partnerships and focused on continuous school improvement and student learning and achievement. The expectation is that these partnerships will benefit all involved. They are to be formalized, reciprocal, and collaborative, ultimately enhancing student learning. To support this work the GaPSC, GaDOE, RESAs, and University System of Georgia (USG) facilitated regional P-20 meetings each year to provide leadership for the collaboratives so that SEAs can transition into an advisement role.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation for any course must be received prior to the registration deadline. Registration fees are refundable only if cancellation is received by the registration deadline. Any cancellations received after the deadline will not be accepted and fees will not be returned. If cancellation is not made and registrant does not attend the course, the status will be "No Show" and payment will still be required.
