Course Description
How are we assessing students to ensure that they are mastering the concepts that we are teaching? Learning Journals provides opportunities for students -- and teachers -- to really think outside the box. Students can show their work and thought processes in real time by submitting a video of themselves working through a math problem, snapping a picture of a paragraph they wrote, recording themselves reading a poem, or uploading a file to demonstrate their learning. The value of using performance-based initiatives to ensure students understand and can apply learning targets is that teachers will have ample support in their assessment of students. Join us for this interactive PD to explore various opportunities for you to implement learning Journals with your class!
