Course Description

The PersonBrain Model™ is a powerful, trauma informed care training that is strengths-based and provides essential positive behavior support skills within a Neuro Relational Model. The Neuro Relational care approach is grounded in research and incorporates the best of practical brain based concepts, trauma-informed theories, relational practices, ecological psychology and culturally responsive interventions to help transform challenging behaviors. Given its multi-theoretical design, The PersonBrain Model™ is compatible with a wide variety of trainings your organization might already incorporate, helping to blend general practice into one, coherent model.

The Model's unique combination of powerful therapeutic skills is designed to suuport the comprehensive needs of even the most challenging of children and youth.  These therapeutic skills are helful within school, residential care, juvenile justice, foster care and related settings that serve children and youth from troubled histories.

This innovative training program teaches the essentials of how people interact with the brain, body, culture and environment to impact one's overall life experience.  The PersonBrain Model is designed for PRACTICAL use by caring adults of any educational background.

Registration Policy
Registration for courses must be received prior to the registration deadline. Your registration status will remain pending until we have received approval from your system Professional Learning Coordinator and registration fee. The registration fee must be submitted immediately. 

If you choose PERSONAL PAY as your payment method, you must submit a money order or cashier's check to pay for this class prior to the first day of class.

If you choose DISTRICT/SYSTEM PAY as your payment method, the district must submit a system check to pay for the class. Please make payable to Oconee RESA and send to address below.

Withdrawal/Cancellation Policy
Notification of cancellation for any course must be received prior to the registration deadline. Registration fees are refundable only if cancellation is received before the registration deadline. Withdrawals/Cancellations received after the registration deadline will not be accepted and fees will not be refundable.
