Course Description

Argument writing is a necessary skill for all students. Join Cheryl Daniels and Pam Knauer as they share effective and easy to implement writing strategies as social studies teachers incorporate inquiry-based practices into their instruction. Learn how to facilitate students' use of primary sources to take a position, formulate an argument to defend their position and then write about it! Discuss the elements of an argument to build a consistent framework which will benefit students in all content areas. Argument writing has never been so fun and engaging!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation for any course must be received prior to the registration deadline. Registration fees are refundable only if cancellation is received by the registration deadline. Any cancellations received after the deadline will not be accepted and fees will not be returned. If cancellation is not made and registrant does not attend the course, the status will be "No Show" and payment will still be required.
