Course Description

This workshop will focus on co-teaching using manipulatives in a math class. 

Mathematics should be represented in as many ways as possible. From concrete (manipulative) to pictorial, to abstract to enhanced learning. This class is structured as a co-teach model for grades 6-12 where you will receive hands-on experience using many different manipulatives to cover concepts vertically from middle to high school, as well as incorporating co-teaching strategies and resources. Participation in this 2 day class will also include co-teach observation(s) and feedback as a follow up. 

*Participation is limited to co-teach teams consisting of

1 Math teacher and 1 Special Education teacher,

who are committed to co-teaching for the 2018-2019 school year* 

BOTH team members must register.

Your registration status will remain pending until we receive the registration fee and approval from your system Professional Learning Coordinator. The registration fee must be submitted immediately. Registration Fees are posted for each course.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation for any course must be received prior to the registration deadline. Registration fees are refundable only if cancellation is received by the registration deadline. Any cancellations received after the deadline will not be accepted and fees will not be returned. If cancellation is not made and registrant does not attend the course, the status will be "No Show" and payment will still be required.
