Course Description

Brain Development 101:

Understanding the Impact of Trauma on Brain Development 

This four hour workshop provides participants with foundational knowledge about how adversity and trauma can impact brain development. The workshop introduces brain architecture and early brain development in children and focuses on the impact of adverse experiences in child trauma on the brain.
Topics and learning objectives include:
a) Adversity & trauma and the impact on brain development
b) Brain systems 
c) Adverse childhood experiences and brain development 
d) Resilience and brain development

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation for any course must be received prior to the registration deadline. Registration fees are refundable only if cancellation is received by the registration deadline. Any cancellations received after the deadline will not be accepted and fees will not be returned. If cancellation is not made and registrant does not attend the course, the status will be "No Show" and payment will still be required.
