Course Description
This 5 plu course is the second course required to add the ESOL endorsement to an existing level 4 professional teaching certificate or higher or to the service field of Speech & Language Pathology.
Candidates will become familiar with the nature and structure of language as well as the process of acquiring a first and second language. They will demonstrate skills in evaluating communication in order to determine a limited English proficiency (LEP) student’s development language stage through interviews and observations in the classroom setting. 
You have up to 12 weeks from your start date to complete the class.

Class Notes
Since students are required to complete most assignments, candidates must begin course on or before March 6th.  Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis to start at a later date.  However, it is the candidates responsibility to be finished by May 29th.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation for any course must be received prior to the registration deadline. Registration fees are refundable only if cancellation is received by the registration deadline. Any cancellations received after the deadline will not be accepted and fees will not be returned. If cancellation is not made and registrant does not attend the course, the status will be "No Show" and payment will still be required.
