Course Description

Participants will discuss and practice the math content and concepts in the Georgia Standards of Excellence. During this course, teachers will examine ways to ensure hands-on and task-oriented application of math standards in their classrooms. This course is designed to focus ONLY on the rigor and relevance of math content.

Target Audience: (1) Teachers in need of shoring up mathematics and their general understanding of GSE math standards AND how to use math to provide Problem Based Learning experiences for students; (2) Teachers as members of STEM/STEAM teams to ensure appropriate application of math content during the teaching of a STEM/STEAM unit.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation for any course must be received prior to the registration deadline. Registration fees are refundable only if cancellation is received by the registration deadline. Any cancellations received after the deadline will not be accepted and fees will not be returned. If cancellation is not made and registrant does not attend the course, the status will be "No Show" and payment will still be required.
