Course Description

Math Toolkit classes equip K-2 math teachers with the mathematical knowledge, tools, and job-embedded experience to lead their students to excel in math.

The Math Toolkit is a learning experience that focuses on the real work of math teachers with support from a math mentor. The modules are specifically designed for novice teachers, GaTAPP teachers, teachers who have changed grade bands or need a review, experienced teachers who want a refresher, and PreK-5th grade support-teachers.

Teachers may register for one module or all three; each module consists of two days of online training. The virtual Math Toolkit sessions are three-hour segments of online collaboration. Successful completion of all three modules results in an MGRESA Math Toolkit certificate of completion.
