The three main roads through Waycross are

• US 1 (North:South),
• Hwy 82, Hwy 520,  South Georgia Parkway, Corridor Z, ( East:West)  (Brunswick to Tifton)
• Hwy 84 (East:West) Savannah to Valdosta

From Tifton, Hwy 82, 520, Corridor Z (South Georgia Parkway) At the first light (Waycross College is on the right), turn LEFT onto Augusta Avenue.  Travel approximately 2 miles.  Okefenokee RESA is on the right between Southern Forest World and Okefenokee Heritage Center.

From Valdosta, Hwy 84: Traveling east on Hwy 84 you will pass Ruskin Elementary School on the left. Continue until Hwy 84 curves sharply to the left.  Ware County High School will be on your left.   At the next light, after passing WCHS, turn left on Hwy 82.  At the next light (Waycross College will be on the left) turn RIGHT onto Augusta Avenue.    Travel approximately 2 miles.  Okefenokee RESA is on the right between Southern Forest World and Okefenokee Heritage Center.

From Alma, US 1 South.  After passing Wacona Elementary School, turn right at Flash Foods onto Blackshear Avenue.  Travel approximately one mile.  Blackshear Avenue curves into Augusta Avenue. Okefenokee RESA is located on the left.

From Brunswick, Hwy 82, 520 Corridor Z (South Georgia Parkway) , At Waycross College, turn right onto Augusta Avenue.  Travel approximately 2 miles.  Okefenokee RESA is on the right between Southern Forest World and Okefenokee Heritage Center.

From Jesup, Hwy 84:Traveling west through Patterson and Blackshear, continue on Hwy 84 into Waycross. Turn right onto US 1 North "State Street" (to Alma).  Cross two railroad tracks. Turn left onto Blackshear Avenue (Flash Foods).  Travel approximately one mile.  Blackshear Avenue curves into Augusta Avenue. Okefenokee RESA is located on the left.
