Bio

Born and raised in Stockton, Assemblymember Carlos Villapudua is a lifelong Democrat. Carlos served on the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors from 2008-2016 before being elected to the State Assembly. As the Supervisor for a District that rests entirely within the 13th Assembly District, he was able to work with his fellow supervisors in a fight for his district and county as a whole, turning around the County General Hospital and saving healthcare in San Joaquin County.
