Bio

Senator John Albers represents the 56th District, which includes portions of Fulton, Cobb and Cherokee County. He serves as chairman of the Public Safety committee, vice chairman of Finance, and subcommittee chairman of the Appropriations committee. He is also a member of the Rules, Regulated Industries, and Education committees. Senator Albers is a member of the Senate leadership serving as the Chief Deputy Whip.

Senator Albers has long been an active member of his community. His affiliations include numerous boards of directors for business, civic and charitable organizations.
