BioKenny Titus, with his wife Kara made the Flint Hills their home in 2015. After welcoming their two boys, they experienced first-hand the challenges families face with jobs, housing, childcare, education, and other important family support services. Kenny is running to advocate for practical policy solutions for Wabaunsee, Pottawatomie, and Riley county families. Kenny will focus on economic growth, strongly supports the right to life and the "Value Them Both" amendment, Second Amendment rights, expansion of the agricultural industry, and continued development of broadband internet in rural communities.
Kenny has served as Chief Counsel to the Kansas Department of Agriculture, working with stakeholders in the state's largest industry. He is one of the state's experts on water law and led the effort to implement Kansas' industrial hemp program. Prior to that, he worked in the Office of the Kansas Attorney General under Derek Schmidt. Kenny is a co-owner of National Sports Network, a nationally syndicated play-by-play broadcast network. He attended law school at the University of Kansas where he also serves as an adjunct professor. He received his M.A. in History and B.S. degrees in Journalism and History from Kansas State University.
