BioRebecca has been a grassroots individual liberty advocate since late 2012. She began volunteering her time and talent with 1 Million Moms Against Gun Control at the state level and moved quickly to the national level, eventually coheading the organization with her counterpart from Illinois. She has worked both on the Board, as well as in tandem with the Board, of the Kansas State Rifle Association through legislation such as statewide open carry, concealed carry, and permitless carry, recently focusing on bringing concordant gun safety training to schools across the state. She co-hosted the podcast To The Republic, has been a guest speaker at AmmCon, national rallies for gun rights, state capital rallies, and has testified before legislative committees in the Kansas Statehouse.
When she is not advocating for free exercise of our inherent rights and the individuals personally adopted safety education which accompanies such rights, Rebecca is a dedicated mom, and proud grandma, who works full-time at a local family owned bank, is the president of her family's and its surrounding communities cemetery association, volunteers as a committee member for the Ottawa Veterans Celebration and Events organization which honors our veterans, both local as well as national, regularly attends local government meetings in her community, hunts, fishes, hikes, and camps with her family as she can make time. Most importantly, Rebecca is a Christian who understands that all of the things she enjoys and seeks to protect in life are provided and maintained by God, through His Son and her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Rebecca has a heart for service and a passion for defending the inherent rights of the individual. She believes the US Constitution means what it says and says what it means, including the outlined procedure to amend the document when and as needed. Her dedication to the preservation of liberty is apparent in all of the decisions and stances she has taken throughout her time in public service through advocacy.
She has proven herself to be unwavering in the defense of the rights and responsibilities of the individual and the strict limitations of the majority and the government as a collective entity.
