BioRepublican Senator Dennis Pyle is a fourth generation, self-employed Kansas farmer. He and his wife, Jennifer, have been married for forty-four years. Dennis and Jennifer have six daughters, five sons-in-law and nineteen grandchildren. Dennis attended Hiawatha schools as well as Grace College of the Bible, which was located in Omaha, NE. Dennis and Jennifer reside on their farm north of Hiawatha.
Pyle has represented the 1st District since first elected to the Senate in 2004 following a term in the House of Representatives. Pyle has been termed a rogue, maverick who stands for the people and doesn't take orders from the establishment.
