BioTom Brandt is a 58 year old farmer and livestock feeder from Plymouth who is running for legislature in the 32nd district, he is a graduate of Tri-County High School and earned a degree in Agriculture from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. He is past chairman and a current member of the Southeast Nebraska Corn Growers, past chairman of the Jefferson County Republican Party, served nine years on the Farmer's Cooperative Dorchester board of directors, is a past member of the Farm Credit Services of America Advisory Council, past president and an active member of the Plymouth Improvement Association, and currently serves as congregation president of First Trinity Lutheran Church. Tom is married to Sandra who works for Health and Humans Services as a Trust Officer, they have two grown children, Mariah a Captain in the Air Force recently returned from her second combat tour, and Evan who operates a custom farming business in addition to being a Plymouth Volunteer Firefighter.
