Senator Kristina Roegner is serving her first term in the Ohio Senate representing the 27th Senate District which includes Ohioans living in Wayne County and parts of Summit and Stark counties. Senator Roegner joins the Senate after serving four terms in the Ohio House from 2011-2018. Prior to her time in public office, she worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, serving global clients on performance and strategic issues. She also was a field engineer and project manager for Westinghouse Power Generation Service Division, where she was responsible for leading teams to overhaul large turbines and generators at power plants across the country.

Graduating cum laude in 1990, Senator Roegner has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Tufts University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Senator Roegner served as an elected member of Hudson City Council from 2005- 2010. As part of the Budget Reduction Ad-hoc Committee, she helped to lead Hudson City Council in 2006 to reduce the budgeted city spending and size of government. She was also a member of the Board of Directors at Seton Catholic School, Hudson Community First and Leadership Hudson class of 2007.Senator Roegner and her husband, Eric, have three daughters and live in Hudson
