Bio

Tony Wied was raised in Green Bay and has spent his entire life in Northeast Wisconsin. He graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Ashwaubenon in 1994 and went on to attend St. Norbert College in De Pere, where he played football. It was during his senior year at St. Norbert that Tony met his wife, Angela. After earning a bachelor's degree in business and administration in 1998, Tony and Angela decided to settle down in De Pere, where they would eventually start their family.

Tony and Angela soon had four sons. Always driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, they ventured into the gas station and convenience store business. Together, they operated several Dino Stop gas stations throughout Northeast Wisconsin and later expanded their business by opening several Little Caesars restaurants.

Over his years in business, Tony learned firsthand the importance of hard work, problem-solving, customer service, and collaboration. These lessons were key to his success and helped shape his approach to life and work.

In 2022, after selling their businesses, Tony found himself seeking a new mission-one where he could make a lasting impact. When the 8th Congressional District seat became available in the 2024 election, Tony felt a calling to step up. With his background in small business and a commitment to customer service, Tony is ready to bring his experience to Washington and work on solving problems for the people of Wisconsin's 8th Congressional District.

Tony resides in De Pere with his wife, Angela, and their four sons- Charlie, Frank, George, and Simon.
