Senator Jack Williams was elected to the Alabama Senate on November 6, 2018 after serving one term in the Alabama House of Representatives.

He was born in Mobile County in 1955, raised on the family farm, has lived his entire life in District 102 and is a graduate of Mary G. Montgomery High School.

Senator Williams has been married to his wife, Bobbie, for 40 years and together own and operate the J Bar W farm where they raise cattle, timber, and hay. They actively support 4-H.

In 1986, Senator Williams started Twin Oaks Nursery in Wilmer and in 2004 purchased Tom Dodd Nurseries in Semmes. His son John now owns and operates those businesses.

He and his wife are raising their two grandchildren following the deaths of their daughter and son-in-law. Senator Williams and his wife are members of Wilmer Baptist Church.
