Bio

Jonathan Dixon is a lifelong resident of Henderson, Ky. He was raised on a small family farm, learning the value of a strong work ethic and dedication. Before starting his own fence business 13 years ago, he labored in a local factory working as an electrician. Throughout his career in the fence industry, he has served as President of the Indiana and Kentucky Chapter of the American Fence Association (AFA) for 4 consecutive years where he also served on the National Board of Governors. He has completed the Henderson Leadership Initiative Program working to build and strengthen relationships in our community. Currently, he serves on the Henderson County Board of Zoning and Adjustments. He is a co-founder of the Henderson Wiffleball Classic, an annual charity sporting event developed to raise funds for the local Boys and Girls Club. Jonathan's interests include hunting, fishing, flying, boating and spending time with his wife and three daughters. He is passionate about increasing interest and education related to careers in trade work by improving access to college and trade programs throughout District 11. A few of his personal goals as Kentucky State Representative would include bringing good-paying jobs throughout our District and working closely with local leaders, educators, and officials to ensure District 11 has a bright future for current and future generations.
