BioAshley Viola Gantt is an attorney, law firm owner, and legislator serving in the Florida House of Representatives since 2022. A Miami resident, she is dedicated to advocacy, education, and legal reform.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad College of Law. Before entering politics, Gantt served as a public school teacher and later as a public defender in Broward County, experiences that shaped her commitment to justice and community service.
An alumna of Teach for America, Gantt continues to champion education and equity. Her interests include dancing, movies, and wine tasting, reflecting her appreciation for culture and the arts.
