Regan's adoption at birth into a loving family fuels her unwavering commitment to protecting the unborn and supporting parents facing an unplanned pregnancy.
She has served as the volunteer Chair of the Decatur Public School Foundation, oversaw the building of the new community food bank, and currently sits on her local school board, where she brings her passion for ensuring every child has access to an excellent education.
Her track record of fighting for ordinary Americans has earned the trust of Republican voters. In 2022, Regan was the Republican nominee for Congress in Illinois' 13th District, where she ran against President Biden's destructive policies.
Regan Deering holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duke University and a Master of Education from DePaul University.
She is a lifelong resident of the area and, along with her husband Brian, are devoted parents to three children. They are members of the Holy Family Catholic Church.
