Bio

Representative Gregg Bush, a Democrat, proudly represents part of Boone County (District 50) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2024.

Bush holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from Illinois Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri, where he was selected as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholar, blending creativity with a passion for healthcare. Throughout his career, he has worked as a registered nurse with expertise in acute care, case management, patient education, and workforce development - dedicating his life to improving the well-being of others through compassionate care.

In addition to his healthcare work, Bush is an active member of the Unitarian Universalist Church, where he contributes to community initiatives grounded in social justice and service.

Bush is married to his spouse, Iyesatu, and together they have three children- MK, Cameron, and Carson. Family is central to his life, and he treasures time spent with them as he continues his work in the Missouri House, where he strives to make a positive impact on his community and the state. With a background in both the arts and healthcare, Bush brings a unique perspective to his legislative responsibilities.
