Working for you Phil has been fighting for workers and families since he first came to the Michigan Legislature. He has worked tirelessly to fix Michigan's auto insurance system to ensure people who are catastrophically injured in auto accidents have access to care.

Phil has also worked on plans making much-needed improvements to the state's adoption and foster care systems. He was appointed to the bipartisan House Adoption and Foster Care Task Force in February of 2021 and worked with fellow legislators and stakeholders to make sure children in the care of the state are safe and the child welfare system runs more efficiently for taxpayers who help fund it.
