Representative Wendy McKamey is in her third term in the Montana House of Representatives. She has been married 53 years to her husband, James Leslie McKamey. Their children include Monika Lowe, Mike McKamey, Lt. Col. Mark McKamey, Matthew McKamey, Dr. Mitchell McKamey, Marshall (deceased), Merrill McKamey, and 25 grandchildren! An accomplish pianist, Wendy attained her Bachelor of Science degree in Housing and Home Management from Brigham Young University.

Political Experience- Montana House Representative from 2015 - current; Vice chair on State Administration and Veterans' Affairs Committee; Vice chair of House Ethics; member of the Agriculture Committee; Member of the Education Committee; Member of the Transportation Committee.

Served on High Plains Financial Board as Secretary and previously as Treasurer; United Way Board; Angel Flight board and Montana State Fair Advisory Board for 16 years. Formerly, a teacher at Wasatch Academy private Presbyterian college- prep high school; Area executive director and constituent relationship manager with American Cancer Society; Account executive with KFBB TV and Statewide Publishing; Substitute teaching in the public schools and teaching piano along with raising her seven children, and working on the family ranch, McKamey West, Inc.
