Additional Event Information

We were deeply saddened to cancel the VWAP Conference this year! We look forward to this conference every year as we know you do as well. We wanted to offer webinars the week the conference would have been scheduled. We may not be meeting face-to-face, but we are grateful to be meeting virtually and learning together.

We are calling this track - Seek Justice: Ensure Victims' Rights: Inspire Hope.
Join us as we observe National Crime Victims' Rights Week by offering a week-long series of advanced trainings to enhance support of our victims and those who serve them!

We have 5 VWAP topics scheduled from April 13-16, 2020. To view an agenda, please click HERE

Our first webinar is Marsy's Law. This webinar is open to Advocates, but Prosecutors and Law Enforcement are welcome to attend as well. Our very own, Ms. Sharla Jackson and Dr. Rita Davis-Cannon will be presenting this topic on Monday, April 13 from 10:00am to 11:00am. They will discuss everything you wanted to know about Marsy's Law but were afraid to ask. We hope you attend, but please complete registration to receive the link for the Zoom Webinar.

The topics may be listed on the same agenda, but you do have to register for each topic separately.

CLE, POST, & Advocate
Since this is a VWAP Track, we have included all the topics on one form this week. Be sure to only initial by the topics you attended. Please submit forms at the conclusion of the last track on Thursday

CLE: Please note the CLE credit will fall under the in-house/self-study rule. The rule has a six hour maximum on CLE credits. A webinar falls in the same category as a video review. The supreme Court of Georgia allowed ALL 2019 CLE hours to be completed by approved in-house or distance learning seminars. The deadline for this was March 31, 2020. We have not received information about this being extended or exceptions for 2020. If you are in need of a CLE form for this training, please click HEREIf you are requesting CLE hours, please mail the CLE form and the check to PAC.

POST: We are excited to now offer POST credit through webinars! In order to receive POST credit for this webinar, you must listen to the webinar live not review the recorded version. We are asked to take attendance at the start and the end of the session to show who is on the call. You must sign in with your first and last name to receive credit and be present for the entire webinar. If you are in need of a POST form, please click HERE. At the end of the webinar, please email the form to training@pacga.org.

Advocate:If you are in need of an Advocate form, please click HERE. At the end of the webinar, please email the form to training@pacga.org.
