Additional Event Information

ATTENTION ATTENTION! CALLING ALL UP-AND-COMING PROSECUTORS! Welcome to the track we are calling Back to Basics! Just as the title suggests... we will spend this week delving into the essential skills of courtroom proceedings. To ensure you have a strong case you need to ensure you have a firm foundation of basic principles in the courtroom. Join us for the remainder of this week for Cross Examination and Closing Arguments. The following sessions are geared towards prosecutors just starting their careers in the field, but we also encourage experienced prosecutors to attend as well. Refreshers are always good to have!

We are thrilled to have Chuck Boring, Director of Judicial Qualifications Commission (JQC), speaking to us about Cross Examination.

We hope you attend, but please complete registration to receive the link for the Zoom Webinar.

CLE, POST, & Advocate

Since this is track, we have included all the topics on one form this week. Be sure to only initial by the topics you attended. Please submit forms at the conclusion of the track on Friday.

CLE: Please note the CLE credit will fall under the in-house/self-study rule. The rule has a six hour maximum on CLE credits. A webinar falls in the same category as a video review. The supreme Court of Georgia allowed ALL 2019 CLE hours to be completed by approved in-house or distance learning seminars. The deadline for this was March 31, 2020. We have not received information about this being extended or exceptions for 2020. If you are in need of a CLE form for this training, please click HERE. If you are requesting CLE hours, please mail the CLE form and the check to PAC.

POST: There is NO POST Credit for this course.

Advocate: There is NO Advocate Credit for this course.
