The Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia invites prosecutors and law enforcement to attend a 2 hour webinar discussing the Science & Application of HGN Testing on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. It offers 2 CLE and/or POST hours. This webinar is included in the Traffic Safety Track for the week.  

Description of Training:

This 2 hour webinar wil review the fundamental aspects of HGN testing, provide scientific basis for integrated procedures, and introduce advanced concepts in vision system impairment. 

***This training will not provide any type of certification or credentials that you are or have been trained as a practitioner of the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus or Standardized Field Sobriety***


CLE, POST, & Advocate  
CLE: Please note the CLE credit will fall under the in-house/self-study rule. The rule has a six hour maximum on CLE credits (increased to 12 for 2019). A webinar falls in the same category as a video review. The supreme Court of Georgia allowed ALL 2019 CLE hours to be completed by approved in-house or distance learning seminars. The deadline for this is April 30, 2020. If you are requesting CLE hours, there is a $4 charge. Please mail the CLE form and the check to PAC. A copy of the CLE form will be provided in your email confirmation.

POST: We are excited to now offer POST credit through webinars! In order to receive POST credit for this webinar, you must listen to the webinar live not review the recorded version. We are asked to take attendance at the start and the end of the session to show who is on the call. You must sign in with your first and last name to receive credit and be present for the entire webinar. At the end of the webinar, please email the form to A copy of the POST form will be provided in your email confirmation. 

Advocate: Unfortunately this topic does not apply to victim services, there is no credit available. We will not be able to issue a certificate. You are welcome to attend, but you will not receive credit.
