Additional Event Information

We thank you for always taking the time to take the surveys at the conclusion of a training. We use the responses as a guide for trainings needs. We received a few requests for this topic, and we are excited that you have clicked on the registration to learn a little more about this session. Ms. Jodi Spiegel, Sr. Assistant District Attorney with Flint Judicial Circuit, has spoke for us before, and we are excited to welcome her back as she speaks to participants about Preparing for a Child Molestation Trial.

This training is geared towards prosecutors who are new to child molestation cases.

What to expect from this training:
This training will cover the nuts & bolts of how to put a child molestation trial together... specifically the must haves in pretrial motions, required witnesses, corroborating evidence, educating the jury on the Elements and tying it all together in a closing PowerPoint.

CLE, POST, & Advocate Credit Information for this Training
CLE: Please note the CLE credit will fall under the in-house/self-study rule. The rule has a six hour maximum on CLE credits. A webinar falls in the same category as a video review. We have not received information about this being extended or exceptions for 2020. If you are in need of a CLE form for this training, please click HEREIf you are requesting CLE hours, please mail the CLE form and the check to PAC.

POST: Unfortunately there is no POST credit available for this training. You are welcome to attend, but you will not receive credit.

Advocate: Unfortunately this topic does not apply to victim services, there is no credit available. We will not be able to issue a certificate. You are welcome to attend, but you will not receive credit.
