And just like that IT IS JUNE! Well almost June... depending on when you clicked on this registration link. Can you believe it though? The year is half way done, but don't fret! We are here for you, and we are still scheduling webinars! We are excited to welcome Dr. Matthew Norman, Forensic Psychiatrist with Psychiatric Associates of Atlanta, as our next presenter to discuss the basics of mental health. We hope you will join us! 

A closer look into what this webinar will discuss:
Mental health issues affect about half of us at some point in our lifetime.  In this webinar, we will explore some of the mental issues facing victims (and others) within the criminal justice system.  At the end of the hour, attendees will be able to identify the most common psychiatric ailments, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and PTSD.  They will know resources for treatment referrals, common barriers to accepting treatment, and ways to alleviate some barriers.  Attendees will better understand personality disorders and malingering as well.  

CLE, POST, & Advocate

**CLE Credit: Please note the CLE credit will fall under the in-house/self-study rule. The rule has a six hour maximum on CLE credits. A webinar falls in the same category as a video review. The Supreme Court of Georgia allowed ALL 2019 CLE hours to be completed by approved in-house or distance learning seminars. The deadline for this was March 31, 2020. We have not received information about this being extended or exceptions for 2020. If you are in need of a CLE form for this training, please click HEREIf you are requesting CLE hours, please mail the CLE form and the check to PAC.

**POST Credit: In order to receive POST credit for this webinar, you must listen to the webinar live not review the recorded version. We are asked to take attendance at the start and the end of the session to show who is on the call. You must sign in with your first and last name to receive credit and be present for the entire webinar. If you are in need of a POST form, please click HERE. **Advocate Credit: If you are in need of an Advocate form, please click HERE. At the end of the webinar, please email the form to training@pacga.org. UPDATE!
