Additional Event Information

We truly are in the heart of summer... I mean HEAT! We are excited to still be offering webinars, and we are thrilled you have clicked on this link to learn a little more about this session.

A topic we saw mentioned a few times in the evaluations was on the subject of Human Trafficking. With that in mind, we reached out to Erica Mortonson, Human Trafficking Unit Supervisor with the CJCC, to present. She will be joining us on Tuesday, June 30th to speak on Human Trafficking: Georgia's Response.

What to expect from this session: Human Trafficking is the exploitation of a person for the purposes of forced labor or commercial sex, regardless of citizenship, nationality, race, gender, or age. This session will cover several elements of trafficking, including but not limited to: risk factors and vulnerabilities, intersection of victimizations, overview of the state response, exploration of both traffickers, buyers, and resources.

CLE, POST, & Advocate
Forms will be included in the email confirmation

**CLE Credit: Please note the CLE credit will fall under the in-house/self-study rule. The rule on a typical year has a six hour maximum on CLE credits. A webinar falls in the same category as a video review. The Supreme Court of Georgia has allowed ALL 2020 CLE hours to be completed by approved in-house or distance learning seminars. For more information, click HERE.

**POST Credit: In order to receive POST credit for this webinar, you must listen to the webinar live not review the recorded version. We are asked to take attendance at the start and the end of the session to show who is on the call. You must sign in with your first and last name to receive credit and be present for the entire webinar.

**Advocate Credit: Please note that you will receive a certificate template for you to complete your own certificate. You will only need to add your first and last name to the certificate. We trust that you will be accurate and honest in the process of reporting your credit hours. This will be a temporary process until we upgrade our registration system. We do still ask for you to submit your advocate form to us so we have a copy of your affidavit on file.
