Additional Event Information

We are excited to offer a new webinar series! We felt it was important to highlight our community partners and to create a network for victim advocates. We are calling this track WEdnesday Building Bridges Series: Steps towards Community Engagement.

As you can gather from the title, one Wednesday every month (or every other month) we will invite an organization to present about who they are, the services they provide, and the appropriate ways one can make a referral. This is a way WE Build Bridges and help victims together.

We missed this session in November, but we are back for December! We are excited to welcome Ms. Rita Rocker, Deputy Executive Director of Georgia State Board of Pardons & Paroles, as our next speaker. For more information about the Georgia State Board of Pardons & Paroles, please click HERE.

If you have any suggestions for future presentations or organizations, please feel free to email them to me (Rachel Edwards) at All organizations must be 501c3 certified and be willing to receive referrals from all across Ga.

CLE, POST, & Advocate
Forms will be included in the email confirmation.

CLE & POST: There is NO CLE or POST credit for this course, but prosecutors, law enforcement, and investigators are welcome to attend for the information.

Victim Advocate: The blank certificate and the victim advocate form will be provided in the email confirmation. We trust that you will be accurate and honest in the process of reporting your credit hours. This will be a temporary process until we upgrade our registration system. We do still ask for you to submit your advocate form to us so we have a copy of your affidavit on file.
