Additional Event Information

The Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia invites prosecutors and law enforcement to attend a DUI Case Law Update Webinar on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 from 10:00am to 11:00am. It offers 1 CLE and/or POST hour.

Description of this Training:

Georgia courts constantly deal with challenges to the state's DUI laws. This session brings participants up to date with recent cases that impact the investigation and prosecution of DUI cases. The session will also cover responses to defenses concerning the Alco-Sensor, HGN, the NHTSA manual and constitutional challenges to SFST.

CLE, POST, & Advocate (forms will be provided in email confirmation)

CLE Credit: Please note the CLE credit will fall under the in-house/self-study rule. The rule on a typical year has a six hour maximum on CLE credits. A webinar falls in the same category as a video review. The Supreme Court of Georgia has allowed ALL 2020 CLE hours to be completed by approved in-house or distance learning seminars. For more information, click HERE.

POST Credit: In order to receive POST credit for this webinar, you must listen to the webinar live not review the recorded version. We are asked to take attendance at the start and the end of the session to show who is on the call. You must sign in with your first and last name to receive credit and be present for the entire webinar.

Advocate Credit: No credit available as this does not relate to victim services.
