Additional Event Information

With the new year comes many changes within the district attorney and solicitor-general offices across the state. To help with this time of transition, we are thrilled to present PAC'S PRACTICAL GUIDE TO PROSECUTION! Each week, members of our PAC legal team will be joining us to go over the basics of specialty prosecution topics.

You are invited to attend this PAC's Practical Guide to Prosecution: Child Abuse Prosecution. This one is for the newbies, but prosecutors of all levels are welcome to attend! Grab your laptop and your coffee, and join us for another information packed morning!

We are excited to have Ms. Lalaine Briones, Deputy Director of PAC, presenting this session. It will offer 1.5 CLE credits. No POST or advocate credit offered.

Introduction into Child Abuse Prosecution
Monday, February 1st, 10-11:30AM EST
Live Webinar via Zoom

What to expect from this webinar:
This webinar will be an in-dept introduction into procesuting a child abuse case. Physical and sexual abuse will be covered in addition to prosecuting child fatalitites. Prosecutors of all levels are welcome to attend, but this will be an introduction level webinar.

Please note the CLE credit will fall under the in-house/self-study rule. The rule on a typical year has a six hour maximum on CLE credits. A webinar falls in the same category as a video review. We have not received an update on how many CLEs can be earned through in-house or distance learning seminars. No POST or Advocate credit.

Contact the training team at or call the front office with questions. Thank you!
