PA Firearm Law: Web Based CLE

Course Information

This Free Web Based Training will discuss various Pennsylvania statutes that cover firearm possession. In addition to an overview of PA firearm law and related caselaw, topics will include the following: licensing, search and seizure, how to prosecute, evidentiary issues, and strategy.

This Free Web Based Training is available to all members of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association. The last day to register and watch the video is November 27, 2020. To register, please submit your email address above. 

How to Watch

Once you complete registration for this web based training, an email will be sent to you with your CLE form, course materials and a link to watch the video at your leisure. Please do not wait until the last day to watch the video. Too many people watching the video at one time will slow the video and affect the quality of your viewing experience. Once you have watched the video, please email your completed CLE form to no later than November 30, 2020.


This web based training is worth 2 substantive CLE credits. You must watch the entire presentation to receive credit. Partial credit will not be given. To receive credit you must email your completed CLE form to no later than November 30, 2020. If your CLE form is not received by the end of the day on November 30, 2020, credit will not be given.

A complete CLE form will have the following information:

  1. PA Bar ID #
  2. County/Agency Name
  3. Full Name
  4. Signature
  5. Date You Watched the Video
  6. 3 Code Words

  7. Credit will not be given if the above requirements are not met.
