Overview
Presenter: Andrew J. Stover | Assistant District Attorney | Centre County DA’s Office This training will give an overview of social media and electronics and their impact on victims and even the criminal case. It will discuss the different social media platforms and devices using social media, as well as common slang and terms. Mr. Stover will also cover retaliation and intimidation of victims and witnesses, the line between crime and fair play, and the use of social media by victims and witnesses themselves. Additionally, the training will include information on the relationship between social media and sex trafficking crimes, as well cyber stalking. This course is not accredited for CLE credit.
Registration
This FREE WEBINAR is open to all victim service providers, including attorneys and is limited to the first 90 registrants. Registrants will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. The last day to register is April 16, 2021. Any materials, plus the Zoom link, will be sent the week of the training.To register, please submit your email address above.
