Restitution: Facts that Prosecutors Need to Know 


Course Description

During this training the presenter will: 

  • Introduce the Restitution Statute and Mandatory Restitution recipients;
  • Explain the purpose of Restitution;
  • Identify common Restitution losses;
  • Define Legal vs. Illegal Restitution requests;
  • Introduce PCCD’s Restitution Standard;
  • Address amending Restitution Orders; and 
  • Identify and discuss common Restitution misconceptions.

Please note however, that the PA CLE Board has modified its rules for distance learning credits such that pre-recorded and certain on-demand formats like this one taken in excess of twelve (12) credits during 2021 compliance periods will not carry forward towards future annual compliance deadlines.
