Learn a systematic way to select the appropriate exam code and learn what diagnostic tests/procedures are appropriate for each diagnosis.  Also, learn which diagnostic tests can be billed together at a particular visit and when it is appropriate to use a modifier to get paid for both an examination as well as a procedure. 

This is an interactive lecture that will allow participants to text in answers to questions asked during the presentation.

This course will be beneficial to ODs, as well as anyone in your office responsible for coding and billing.

About the Speaker

Dr. Scott Moscow is the clinical director of Roswell Eye Clinic where he focuses on fitting specialty contact lenses and treating eye disease with a certification to perform subcutaneous and subconjunctival injections. In addition to lecturing, he consults on vision therapy and primary care billing and coding.  He has contributed articles in Review of Optometry, Optometric Management, The IDOC Quarterly and Invision. He also has a Billing and Coding column in Review of Optometric Business.
