BioState Representative Leesa Hagan represents the citizens of House District 156, which includes
Montgomery, Toombs and Wheeler counties, as well as portions of Ben Hill, Tattnall and
Telfair counties. She was elected in July 2021.
At home, Rep. Hagan owns a small business consulting firm and is a member of the Greater
Vidalia Chamber of Commerce. She is a former teacher with experience in public, private and
home schools. She and her family are active members of the Grace Community Presbyterian
Church.
Leesa was raised in Riverdale, Georgia but has lived in Lyons, the long-time home of her
husband's family, for 12 years. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1995 with a
B.S. Ed. She and her husband have two sons.
