Note:  In order to serve as a substitute teacher, candidates will need to meet requirements that vary among local school systems.  You will also be required to take an in-house orientation in each county prior to substituting.  Details regarding local requirements and in-house orientation will be available at each county Board of Education.

You should be eligible to substitute teach in any county in Georgia upon completion of this workshop; unless otherwise stated in the local school system requirements*. Contact the local school system to make sure they do not require their own training.

Registration Policy:

Registration for Substitute Teacher Training must be received online prior to the registration deadline. Space is limited and is based on first come, first serve basis.  Registration Fee is $35.00 and is payable online at the time of registration or on the day of training.  We accept credit/debit cards (except American Express) and cash only.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation for Substitute Teacher Training must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the day before training. Registration fees are non-refundable if cancellation is received after the deadline.  Cancellation after the deadline, the registration fees may be transferred to another class only.
