Course Description

Literacy Strategies in Science (6th-8th Grade)

The session focuses on strategies to help students understand science texts and develop skills to increase reading proficiency in grades 6-8.  Teachers will work through example classroom tasks that bolster student reading stamina and comprehension. This session is based on NSTA’s Linking Science & Literacy In The K-8 Classroom.
