Course Description

Assessment Data (35-50 Minutes)
This session focuses on the various assessment data within SLDS. This session is not just a “point & click” demonstration, but rather a “WHY” & “WHAT” the data can be used for. The trainer will model for the attendees how to identify a students past performance on all of the assessments within SLDS. The session will allow ample time for hands-on participation by the attendees. With data in hand, teachers will have a collaborative opportunity to discuss possible strategies to improve the student’s performance.
Prerequisite: “Data Overview” training.

Differentiation Based on Data (35-50 Minutes)
This session focuses on the State Assessment Classroom Performance (SACP or differentiation tool). The trainer will model for the attendees how to identify students’ performance on state assessments (EOG & EOC).  The session will allow ample time for hands-on participation by the attendees. Teachers will be able to drill down to the domain level performance inside of the SACP. With that data on hand, teachers will be able to differentiate instruction for all of their students.
Prerequisite: “Data Overview” training.
