This course is only open to GDOE/PSC/USG Staff.

Cultural Responsiveness: Beginning the Conversation on Race and Equity

How can we address achievement gaps in our schools?

How can we become more culturally responsive in our growingly diverse schools?

What can I do to ensure equity in my school and classroom?


Join West Georgia RESA for a new series where we will begin having critical conversations about race and equity. This group will examine Even on Your Worst Day, You Can Be Your Student’s Best Hope by Manny Scott and Closing the Attitude Gap by Baruti Kafele. West Georgia RESA staff will serve as facilitators for the four-part book study.
