Course Description
Get connected and learn about statewide developments and initiatives in world language education! This session will focus on the structures and initiatives underway to support world language education in Georgia and in the region.  The agenda will include an introduction to local world language partners, a look at ongoing efforts to increase synergy of effort and partnership across the state, an examination of the International Skills Diploma Seal and Biliteracy Seal programs, an overview of world language professional development opportunities online and statewide, a brief look at the impact of Immersion education programs, such as the Dual Language Immersion Model and a brief examination of the relationship of world language and cultural education to global workforce initiatives for the state and nation.
