Metro RESA iLEAD Tier I Online Application

The Metro RESA iLEAD program is a partnership between your school, your school district and Metro RESA to assist you in developing your leadership skills. The program is one year in length and requires a significant commitment of time from both you and your site administrator/principal. Applicants are required to be in a leadership position for at least a half day each day to be admitted into the Tier I program. Full-time teachers cannot be admitted to the Metro RESA Tier I iLEAD program since it is a performance based program and requires candidates to work on leadership tasks and experiences during the day. Please read all information below, including the links for #1-4, before beginning your application.

It is recommended that you discuss the program with your site administrator/principal before you begin the application process. The following four documents will assist you and your site administrator in determining if you are ready to undertake the program.
  1. Your Experience Requirements – there are twelve you must meet.
  2. Your Commitment – outlines your time and financial commitment.
  3. Disposition Assessment – your site administration will complete this assessment of your disposition to assist us in determining if you are a good candidate for the program.
  4. Partnership Agreement – both the site administrator and the superintendent or his/her designee must agree to and sign the Partnership agreement.
Once you are admitted into the iLEAD program, your district is required to apply for a non-renewable educational leadership certificate for you if you do not already possess one.  It is recommended that you contact the person in your district who takes care of this to ensure they are willing to apply for the NL on your behalf.

Before you start the online application process, have the following information available.
