You're Invited to attend School Age and Youth Training
Series (SATS)
Do you need to acquire ten hours of school age and youth training hours for the
year? If so, you are invited to attend the School Age & Youth Training Series
(SATS). This training is a series of topics that meet the Professional Development
Competencies for School Age Practitioners. The competencies address such issues
as school age development, guidance, environments, relationships with children
and families, programming and professionalism. The 10-hour training will take
place over two evenings.
The goal of the School Age and Youth Training Series
(SATS) is to offer a learning opportunity that includes 10 hours of training
pertinent to working with school
age children and youth as required by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department
of Early Care and Learning. In addition, participants in attendance will be
involved in a training that is participatory and provides opportunities
to network with
colleagues.
When: Tuesday September 19th & Thursday September 21st
Time: 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. each night
