“Banking Grant” Application

Application must be received in the PAGE Office by January 9, 2007

The PAGE Foundation National Board Certification Banking Grant Program provides a one-time $300 grant for a limited number of PAGE members.

“Banking” in the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards program is a demonstration of perseverance by candidates who refuse to give up in their pursuit of teaching excellence of the highest order. The PAGE Foundation wishes to help such candidates. To be eligible for a banking grant, you must:

• Be a PAGE member in good standing;
• Submit this application by the deadline;
• Agree to participate in at least one PAGE Foundation Mentoring Workshop; and
• Serve as a mentor for other candidates in the future.

Please complete this application and return to the Atlanta PAGE Office where it will be reviewed.

All applicants will receive notification regarding the status of their application by January 12, 2007.

Information:

  1. The application must be received in the PAGE Office by close of the business day, January 9, 2007. It is highly recommended that the application be sent via guaranteed delivery either by Fed-X, UPS or U.S. Mail.
  2. The application cannot be emailed.
  3. PAGE does not pay the scholarship recipient. The $300 scholarship money is sent directly to NBPTS. The recipient must check the NBPTS website to verify that his/her fees have been paid.
