The Brain & Spinal Injury Trust Fund Commission is the result of an amazing grassroots effort.
People with SCI and TBI envisioned a Trust Fund, then made it happen.
Today, the Commission's Public Policy Committee continues these advocacy efforts. After gathering input from Commission members and the general public, the Committee creates a Public Policy Agenda. Issues relate to state and federal legislation as well as agencies' policies and practices.
The success of this agenda depends entirely upon grassroots support.
That's why we encourage you to get involved. Tell your story, make a difference. Help assure that our 2008 Public Policy Agenda is implemented and the quality of life improves for Georgians with traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries.
