HB 545 amends Title 47.  This relates to retirement and pensions.  The bill would provide that a superior court judge or district attorney who is an active member of the Georgia Judicial Retirement System may obtain creditable service (up to 5 years) for certain prior service as a circuit-paid assistant district attorney. They would also have to pay the full actuarial cost.
